CryptoCities: Fact or fiction?
So, I've recently been applying for university and naturally researching the cities i was interested in going to. I'm from the united kingdom. My dad told me he went to a university in Hull !

so i decided to set my sights and do some research. After hours of looking at pubs, clubs and mostly useless information i discovered something that genuinely was interesting. An article talking about that the city already had integrated cryptocurrency into their every day lives. they describe the coin as follows:
"HullCoin is the world’s first Community Loyalty Point. Earn HullCoin by getting involved in great things in your community, spend HullCoin by accessing discounts with local retailers. Register above if you are a community organisation that would like to issue HullCoin, someone that would like to use HullCoin or if you are a retailer interested in accepting HullCoin as a form of discount."
Now this is nothing special as all it is is a glorified coupon for volunteering but it got me thinking what about a town with it's infrastructure completely founded and based on cryptocurrency. So i had a look into it and i stumbled upon something titled CryptoIsland: A self sufficient, collectively owned autonomous island. This is absolutely fascinating to me but it seems like a huge place to start it needs to start with things like hull coin getting communities used to using and dealing with crypto on a daily basis and seeing how useful it can be. The future truely does look great for the blockchain and i'm so glad to be a part of it
