What i've learnt from 6 months in crypto
I was really new to crypto about 6 months ago. I had heard of Bitcoin and some of the others and wanted to mine them. I started looking into it and the cost was so high that to me It was just beyond my reach. Then I found Steemit, it made it so much easier to mine, which is what you are doing when you post and curate others posts, it can be lots of fun to be able to hear others thoughts and opinions without all the censorship.
I have tried all the high yield websites and got burned from them. So that is not the way to go if you are doing things like Chain Group and some others that you have money in and cannot get to it or are not in control of your wallet so you can stop and pull your money out, do not do that as most of them are scams and you will lose.
Here is a good website to tell you what each coin is worth. https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/ You want to know what Steem is worth go to the search bar and type it in, the same with SBD. I am trading on www.binance.com. It is not hard to use, just be sure to buy some BNB as that is their coin and it will make your trades much cheaper. It is simple to use and it is a good way to learn. It may look like it is complicated but as you look it over and study it before you start trading you will see this.
It has a learning curve to it just like Steemit.com did when you started on this platform. It will take some time to get in the grove. Just start out with a little bit of crypto and buy some cheap coins and use them to learn with and before long you will get the idea.
They have all the wallets you will need when you sign up on binance But use a wallet like Exodus to store all your coins in and move them from binance to that wallet.
I am not telling you to go to the markets and trade you do this at your own risk. It can be addictive when you start doing this and more so when you figure out how easy it is to make money if you are careful. Check it all out and make your own decision on what you want to do or just leave your crypto in a wallet and have it for the time you need it like a saving account, so to speak.
I know most everyone knows about this but we always have new people signing up on Steemit and want to learn and do more with their crypto so this is for them. It is just one small piece of a larger puzzle and it is a start to help you learn as you go. STEEM ON!
