Where to Buy Crypto Currencies if you're from Australia

in #cryptocurrencyaustralia8 years ago (edited)

Being new to the crypto currency world and being from Australia I have to say wasn't easy to get my head around this Crypto madness,.

After weeks of research and you tube videos finally I got some understating and found what I believe one of the best websites Australia based which accepts Australian currency.

www.coinspot.com.au

Very simple, apply follow the steps complete all the required information and wait for them to actually call you and clarify its a genuine account being setup and if approved off you go.

They have 22 Currencies currently available to trade in, majority of the main ones are listed all you need to do select the currency you want to purchase enter the $ value and it will direct you to POLI payments which you will need to log in to your online banking and confirm purchase, then you will receive a text msg with verification code to confirm the actual account holder is placing the order.

once the payment is confirmed it takes 5 to 15 seconds and you will see the new currency in your wallet.

Advantage on this website:
1-Easy to setup but yet very secure;
2-All the main top 10plus currencies are available;
3-Price changes in currencies are seen pretty much instantly as per the market movement;
4- 2 step login (1-username and password 2- google authenticator which is generated via an app that needs to be installed on your mobile)
5-Havent seen any fees has been charged as everything is calculated in the purchase price including the USD conversion to AID

Disadvantages:
1-You don't have all the currencies in the market so you're limited with your purchases;
2-You cant use credit card payment only savings;
3-There's only 3 markets available to place buy/sell options if you want to sell or buy different rate than the market prise;
4-Currencies are in AUD which means the USD is converted to AUD and with the current rate it doesn't help much, but the questions is how badly you want to enter the market, look at Bitcoin price several years ago and look at it now!

There are several other websites like www.cointree.com.au but you can only purchase Bitcoin no other currencies are available.

As mentioned being new user I'm still learning as I go, all the above will give you the kick start to get you up and running, any questions feel free to ask happy to help.
