In a February 26 post, the US blockchain and encryption market data company Brave New Coin (BNC) confirmed that Nasdaq has started listing two cryptocurrency price indices in real time.

BNC's Bitcoin liquidity index (Bitcoin Liquid Index, BLX) and Ethernet currency liquidity index (Ethereum Liquid Index, ELX) announced a merger earlier this month, we will use the NASDAQ Global Index Data Service (Global Index Data Service, GIDS) customers provide the latest real-time data.

Previously, BNC plans to launch a separate index to track the price of Ripple Coin (XRP). The cottage currency on Tuesday in the United States encryption currency exchange Coinbase Pro launch, but it is unclear whether this will launch the NASDAQ index, the index is currently in the final stages of development.

BNC CEO Fran Strajnar said in a blog post, "The LX (Liquidity Index) program was born out of the need for clear and transparent liquidity crypto asset price discovery. Compared to when we launched the program in 2015, The demand is greater."

As Cointelegraph reports, Nasdaq's own suite of cryptocurrency-related technology products is gaining popularity.

In particular, the company disclosed last month that seven exchanges are using their market monitoring tools, which can help track illegal market activities through orders.

CEO Adena Friedman also publicly stated that she believes in the long-term viability of the cryptocurrency industry.
