DRIFE- NEXT GEN RIDE-HAILING PLATFORM
The ride-hailing business has seen significant growth with its current market valuation of about USD 36 billion over the years but its growth has been destabilized by certain issues that cannot be easily ignored. The centralized system makes it difficult for drivers to earn any meaningful income for themselves and families. There is also the breach of drivers’ and riders’ personal data by ride-hailing companies on their platform to enable them manipulate the price of rides. Furthermore, riders were promised less cost on rides but as the years wore on, the price has continued to increase.
DRIFE is a decentralized platform created with the sole purpose of giving value to drivers’ services and quality rides for the riders. They also aim to eliminate transaction fees, reduce interference, enhance transparency and redistribute value back to the community. They plan on doing this by initiating a true zero commission platform where drivers earn what they actually paid for. In addition, drivers are provided with the option of offering a price for a ride while riders choose the drivers they wish to ride with depending on the rates offered. Moreover, both drivers and riders earn rewards for their activeness on the platform and also by referrals. The bigger the network becomes, the more incentives one can get.
DRIFE TOKEN INFORMATION
The DRF token is a utility token based on the Ethereum ERC-20 compliant token on the EOS blockchain platform. The project will organize an IEO where the total supply of tokens for sale is 325 million DRF tokens while 162,500,000 will be available to the public at the token price of $0.25. At the end of the year, unused tokens will be self-destroyed to avoid excess flow of tokens in the economy.
