As I am sure you are aware, Google bought Blogger in 2003. By using their service, they get paid.
Suggestion: if you can, use WordPress.org as you can blog there and use a plug-in to post on Steem here via @SteemPress. That plug-in is not available on WordPress.com, so we need to use the self-hosted WordPress.org. For more info on using this option, please ask @jongolson as he's the expert in CTPtalk on that aspect.
Advantages: you post there, get paid here, and that encourages you to post a lot more there then here! Steemians will also benefit from your regular authorship through curation and upvoting, and you will more quickly gain a following here.
@i.anballantine Thank you for the information concerning wordpress and blogger. Not sure about wordpress.org . Don't understand what to do. I will have to do some research and see what to do.
