Before the dinner bell....

I put a square of paper towel under the cats' dinner plates, and Mr. Joey is patiently waiting.... fixating on the counter where the filled plate awaits.

Plate down and the first three, clockwise, Sassy, Brandy and Joey, space out to eat first. The other plate out on the catio had a similar spacing with Amy, Mamacat and Maisie. Lower "ranked" cats will step in to spotlessly clean the plates, when these six are finished.

Yes they have figured out the "pecking" order which keeps things peaceful at meal time....

Cats are really smart creatures as they know how to train their owners to do their bidding. Our Olah knows who to go to get what she wants, and we all laugh about the way she manipulates us. Great post...thanks for that!
