This temple also includes a museum to represent the Isan culture, which makes it a very interesting place to visit.

Although Khon Kaen is quite a fair​ distance from Bangkok, it's easy to get to by air (less than an hour to fly to from Bangkok).
You can also travel there by bus and enjoy plenty of varied and beautiful​ scenery​ on the way if you have more time to spare and don't mind a rather long journey (it's about 450km's by road).
