ArtzOne Thursday Curation - 06.27.19
Hello ArtzOne community, welcome back to another #quality Thursday curation—you ready?! Let’s do this! This week I’m introducing you to Six
top-shelf authors (in no particular order) who earned a #blockchain feature by me, @dandays, a representative of ArtzOne.
Today’s featured artists will each receive a 100% Upvote from @artzone and @artzone.curators—congratulations!
Our first feature today is Stef1, of Scotland. She’s been releasing high-quality art work on the platform for nearly two years including this incredible pencil drawing of “G-kar” from the 1993 sci-fi series, Babylon 5—check it out:
My ArtVenture: Soft Pastel “G-Kar” ( Andreas Katsulas )
Soan Shinobi, from Switzerland, entered the following letter ‘E’ in this weekly drawing challenge. Ever wonder why not all street art is simple to read? Just look at all of the detail and creativity in this one single letter—check it out:
We Draw the Letter E
Uttam Chandra Bar, of Bangladesh, is a kindergarten teacher. He’s also a student at the University of Chittagong where he studies a variety of fine arts including clay sculpting where he sculpted this Gautam Buddha—check it out:
"CLAY PORTRAIT OF GAUTAM BUDDHA"
Our next feature required my translation app. She’s Maria Lorena Carrero, of Venezuela. Her canvas is a 70x60cm sheet of wood and her medium is acrylic paint. Each painted fish represents a Venezuelan who’s bringing joy and life to fight against the current adversity, portrayed by black water, inside and outside her home country—check it out:
TÍTULO | PECERA DE SUEÑOS
Curly Xu is an art instructor from Ukraine who releases high-quality art nearly every day on the platform. This amazing rendition of Mona Lisa is one of her original attempts at dot-work when she was just 16 years old—check it out:

Our final feature this Thursday is by fredkese, of Accra, Republic of Ghana. He paired up with each of his art students as they made formations out of clay. Like all art and personal finished products, he received something he didn’t expect—the shared stories while working with his pupils. Check it out:
