RE: Upvote Shares | Shareholder Values & Steem Exit Strategy Proposal

in #curation5 years ago

After this latest Hard Fork, I have completely lost interest and faith in the steem block chain and am in the process of a full power down. During my first power down I was planing on leaving some steem in the hopes things would come around, but I am no longer able to imagine a change to the better happening.

I pretty much stopped posting on steem a month ago, and have only been voting, with a random comment every now and then while my power down took place. I have been active on Hive and I do hope that it can become a social media style site one day. I would be curious to know if one of the "different platforms " is similar in feel to steem/hive?

Therefore with my thoughts above, "I would like to request a refund of the steem only, I do plan on remaining active on Hive for some time"

Thanks for the feedback @bashadow, I will be making an official post where the steem can be claimed back soon. The plan on Hive is for the program to continue as planned. Shares over there will stay in place. (All shareholders are always free to sell their shares there if they want by the way)

For as far as the different platforms go, I have really positive experiences with Publish0x. Their model actually works way better for 'real content creators' and content discovery and posts get a ton of views. It's not really about the money as even the trending posts do 5$ at best and it is way more centralized. It does cut out all the bs though.

Thanks, I have seen a few mention PublishOx, I should take a look at it, not from a creator, but from a consumer view.
