The Steemhouse Fiction Trail
VISION
The vision for this curation trail is to shine a spotlight on commercial fiction in the Steemit community that meets a certain standard of excellence. We believe the future of publishing will someday be impacted by this platform, and we want to guarantee a repository of quality work for Steemit's inevitable collision with the mainstream.
CURATION
Curation by The SFT will not be genre-specific, but erotica (NSFW) material is excluded from consideration. We’ll be looking for short stories, flash fiction, and excerpts from longer works, original material to which the author holds full copyright (previously unpublished.) Readability is important. Execution, voice, and story matter. Grammar, punctuation, syntax, and spelling issues (including typos) will negatively influence our decision. We are not looking for first drafts. We’re looking for skillfully written prose that shows mastery of language, composition, and editing ability. Produce this, and The SFT will reward you.
This curation trail is a project made possible by @aggroed 's PALnet @minnowsupport channel, conceptualized by @andrewgenaille, @rhondak, @mk40, and @swelker101. Logo created by @pegasusphysics. If you would be interested in lending your support through delegation, please contact @mk40 or @swelker101 .
Woot woot, my Brother's listed in there, anyone who supports my Brother , I support them too 👍🏼👍🏼
He was actually the first person who spoke of doing something like this. :-)
Now Following Lisa Genaille ... any sister of Andy has to be as awesome as he is!
Years from now, I’ll look back at this comment and smile. “I was there when the SFT started.” Boy, that’ll be one hell of a story to tell. Projects like this will shape the future of publishing.
Jean, I still love your story prompt and want to see the rest of the story (please tell me you're writing it):
When I got home, I was greeted by a banquet of apple slices and dead pigeons carefully laid upon my table.
“I made this for you,” said the stranger in the corner.
He was young. He was small. He was wearing my clothes. He smelled of sea salt and charcoal.
I'll be checking it out, thanks :)
Head on over to Discord to check out the Fiction Workshop, a fantastic resource for fiction writers. Great place to meet other authors as well!
Fantastic. I was thrilled to be able to lend support to this project, as I know the brains and knowledge behind it will make this a winner. Words can not express how excited I am for this!
What is the discord server code for minnowsupport? And when you say unpublished do you mean I cannot submit previously written about material, even if I modify it and it is all from me? I have some posts that are older that I feel would be good to polish and submit.

Wooo hooo! I am so happy to see this lift off the ground. Steemit is the reason I got back into writing, SFT will be the reason I stay. Great job guys.
With the expertise coming along with this project the growth of fiction writing on the Steemit Platform is all but guaranteed. I look at all the great writing that has come out of the workshop in just a few weeks and am amazed. This will be a great way to reward and shine a spotlight on those most deserving fiction authors!
I'm so excited about this project. It's feeling a real need!
I'm 100% behind this! Love it and am so excited to see it go big!
So happy that MSP brought all those involved together! Great example of what the place can do for minnows invested in Steemit's success! Thank you for all you have done!
