RE: Finding my voting sweet spot 2

in #curation7 years ago (edited)

I have Steemvoter upvoting my own posts after others have had a chance. I also use it to support a few people. Otherwise I set my votes to give a fair amount to posts. I don't watch my voting power. I have the voting slider, so I can vary my vote.

Yes that is what I do too, but mainly because I didn't know of the existence of of steamvoter which i guess is the voting bot that others referred to. The original post by @beanz and this chain has really increased my knowledge of voting. Thank you all for comments

So 25% strength gave you a whopping $0.20 (i know! dont thank me, it was nothing really. No really). I am now at 99.19%. So apparently I am a slow voter or a fast re-generator. I prefer the latter. Time to go vote on some posts and use full strength.

People say it's okay to use up your power. It's there to be used and will always regenerate eventually.

True. That would appear to be the mantra of @liberosist who advocates voting all the way down to 10%. His (forgive me on gender) mantra is that although his own voting power may go down his followers will bring the power of volume to the content writers. Seems fair enough. I have followed a few people and gathered a few myself for which I am humbled. Perhaps our team will make a difference too one day. And upvoting your comment at 25% brings me to 94.91%.

As long as my votes give something I'm not worrying about it. SteemNow shows you what your vote is worth
