The Renaissance

Is a classical music that was composed in the Renaissance, circa 1450 to 1600. Determination of the early limits of the music age is difficult because there was no major change in music in the 15th century,
as well as that the music in its development got the features of "Renaissance" gradually. This period took place after the Middle Ages and before the Baroque Age. Some of the composers of this era are Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Orlande de Lassus, and William Byrd.

Baroque Period

It is Western classical music that was composed in the Baroque Age, roughly between 1600 and 1750. This period took place after the Renaissance and before the Classical Period. In fact, the word "Barok" means "pearls of unnatural shape", very fitting with the art and design of the building in this era; then this word is also used for that type of music. Some of the Baroque composers were Claudio Monteverdi, Henry Purcell, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jean-Philippe Rameau, George Frideric Handel, and Antonio Vivaldi.
In those days, pianos were not found, and compositions were fabricated for hapsicord. The musical score in the Baroque period was marked by the absence of accompaniment or polyphony. JS Bach's work for the usual hapsicord has two or more melodies for the right hand and left hand.
Baroque music usually reflects only one type of emotion. Compared to Classical and Romantic Music, baroque music seldom has modulation or rubato. For piano compositions, pedals are rarely used when playing baroque music.

Classic Age

or Classic Period

In the history of Western music lasted for most of the nineteenth century. Although the term classical music is usually used to refer to all types of music in this tradition, the term is also used to refer to music of this particular age in the tradition. This age is usually bordered between the years 1750 and 1820, but with these limits there is overlap with the times before and after, just like in all other music age constraints. up to scratch

In the history of western music lasted from about the early 1800s until the first decade of the 20th century. This era takes place after the Classical Age and before the Modern Age.
Romantic-era music is associated with the Romantic Movement in literature, art, and philosophy, although the time limitations used in musicology are now very different from the restrictions of this age in other art (ie the 1780s to the 1840s).
Some of the composers of this era are Franz Schubert, Johann Strauss, Sr., Felix Mendelssohn, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Richard Wagner, Giuseppe Verdi, Hector Berlioz, and Johannes Brahms.
