Steem Poker League (@spl) is one of the oldest, vibrant, and most awesome communities on Steem. SPL has built the first gaming app for Steemians who play poker. Lucksacks is the app that is built for Steem and Steemians who play poker.

How much support are you seeking per month for the two-month period?

180 SBD or equivalent in Steem.

How will this support be used?

Funds will be used for a freeroll tournament. In the past Curie has supported our community. We had weekly Curie tournaments. Last time funds were used for Team Up tournament that lasted for 9 weeks, was very popular and participation was high. We have other witnesses that also run freeroll tournaments. All for the benefit of Steemians, active engagement, etc.

In this case, we will have tournaments for 9 weeks. Each week 20 SBD will be given out to Steemians who win. Normally it is split among top 5 winners. It can be named Curie tournaments or also used for Team Up tournament.

Approximately how many users participate in your community or project?

I don't know the exact number. 100+. Curie & Team Up tournaments had participation levels of 40-50 Steemians each week.

How will supporting your community or project help grow the Steem community?

Steem is a social network. Supporting active, vibrant communities will support Steem overall. SPL is one of the most neglected communities/apps on Steem.

I understand Curie operates with Steem, not SBD. In case this application is approved and Curie cannot send SBD, please send Steem to me. I can convert to SBD and make up for the difference if needed.
