Post-Covid Cybersecurity Concerns

in #cyberpandemic4 years ago

If there’s one thing we have learned from the pandemic it’s that we weren’t prepared for a pandemic. And not just medically, either - business was completely unprepared for a sudden shift in the way business is done and individuals were completely unprepared for the shift in their daily and family lives. More than anything we were unprepared for the cybersecurity challenges of a sudden mass migration to working from home, as has been shown time and time again in Zoom bombings, phishing attempts, and more.

It’s time to take the hint from the pandemic and start to prepare for a probable cyber pandemic in the future, which could wipe out everything from retail to logistics and could cost $50 billion per day and last for weeks or even months.

Phishing has increased 600% since February because hackers know that we are unprepared and stretched too thin. It’s time to start preparing for a world in which a cyber pandemic is a real possibility. Learn more about post-covid cybersecurity from the infographic below.
