Daily Food Photography Challenge - Instant Spicy Hotpot 冒菜

Location: Meishan, China
Camera used: iPhone 6
In Chinese, we say “Maocai”. “Mao” is our dialect, which means “to heat up the dishes in hot water”. In fact, most of you cannot distinguish the so-called instant spicy hotpot (Maocai)and hotpot. We can consider them as the same kind. But one thing, to make the instant spicy hotpot is more convenient and costs less. You just choose the meat and vegetables you like and wait for the waiter to serve the dish.
在中文里面我们称之为“冒菜”。“冒”是我们的方言，意为烫的意思。其实很多朋友分不清所谓的冒菜和火锅。可以说他们都属于一类。但有一点做冒菜更便捷并且比火锅便宜得多，你只需要选择你爱的菜，等着服务员上菜就行。
