LOL! Puppies in the bed!? I used to have a Staghound (Greyhound X Irish Wolfhound) called Ren, he was 14 years old when we finally agreed that it was his time - his entire life he would insist on needing to pee in the middle of the night, so during his final weeks when his arthritis was so bad that he couldn't walk, I would pick him up and put him to bed next to me under the covers with his head on the pillow, just like these two! I did it for two reasons, a) because he was so skinny he wasn't warm enough in his own bed, and b) so that when it was time for his midnight pee I would feel him fidgeting and wake up, carry him outside and support him while he did his business then carry him back inside and lift him back into bed. Might seem crazy to some people, but when you have a loved one that can't care for themselves any more, what else are you supposed to do?
