The Pacific Coast Highway is one of the most scenic drives in the world. It starts from California’s southern border near the Mexican border stretching all the way to the northern border with Oregon. There are stunning coastal views for miles and miles with seaside villages and untouched forest along the way. Here are 25 pictures that will inspire you to visit the California Coast.

Pigeon Point Lighthouse is one of the most charming lighthouses on the Pacific coast highway. It includes redwood, tan oak, madrone, chaparral, and an 80-foot waterfall that drops from stone precipices into the sea from the Overlook Trail. An all-encompassing perspective of the sea and miles of rugged coastline is accessible from the higher heights along the trails east of Highway 1.
