Spin Like A Sufi
Did you know that spinning is a form of creating movement within the body & organs, which enhances circulation, and opens your chakras?
Life is movement, energy is spiraling inside you in the form of those very chakras.

Spinning is what children do. Ever wonder why something so simple makes them so happy?
You remember that tingly feeling you got in your stomach, from spinning? Yeah, that's the feeling of chakras opening, energies flowing, and body detoxing.
Children are so in tune with their bodies that they can spin for hours, but as more stagnant beings (known as "adults") we tend to get "dizzy" and feel nauseous right away. That's a good indicator of how closed the chakras are.
You should spin, jump, and move your body like a child would. Practice it until you get to their level.
Children are our greatest and most honest teachers. It's beneficial for us to observe and do as they do.
We think we need to teach them how to walk, talk, eat, act, think, etc.. but if we pay close attention, they teach us how to live, laugh, and love all that lives.
Within Sufism, whirling is used as a way of meditation; free flowing expression; to reach liberation from the body & mind; and generally healthy for the rhythm of the heart & breath.
Sufi whirling (aka the Sufi Dance), is an ancient form of movement meditation. Its original name is Samâ, which means "spiritual hearing" in Sufism.
The purpose of the whirling is to find balance within all movement and chaos. To anchor yourself, even as you are still in motion.
The dizziness eventually fades, and transforms into something known as "mystical intoxication", where the feeling of separation merges into oneness, as your external environment melts away with your increased momentum.
Be the stillness of the movement even in movement, and embody harmony in chaos.
Sufi Whirling Demonstration
A quick correction: Sufi's whirl to the left, in the direction of the heart. But since there are no rules to follow in life, spin in any which way your heart leads you to.

Hermosa morocha : )
It looks so nice moves. I remember a moment when was spinning and I saw a ghost who was not allowing me to stop spinning. I later became senseless.
I hope you will like this song and video from Pakistan.
Ahhh, I used to do this almost daily for most of my childhood and well into my teens. I haven't done it for years now, but perhaps it's something worth reintegrating. :)
