This results in slow response times and occasional downtime, impacting the experience for the community.

• Proposal:
  Upgrade to a more robust server with 16 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, and 320 GB Disk (local).
  This will ensure scalability, improved uptime, and better support for the growing community and its extensive trail activity.

2. Graphical Modification

While the functionality of Steem-Fanbase.com is its core strength, the current interface could benefit from a visual refresh.
The current design, with its vibrant but cluttered color scheme and uneven layout, may deter some users.

• Proposal:
  Implement a cleaner, modern design with a cohesive color palette, improved hierarchy (e.g., card-based sections for stats and tools), and better mobile responsiveness.
  This will enhance user experience without compromising utility.

3. Performance Improvement with SDS

The SDS (Steem Data Service) developed and maintained by witness @steemchiller, is a powerful tool for optimizing blockchain data access and performance.

• Proposal:
  Integrate SDS to enhance the efficiency of existing tools on Steem-Fanbase.com, such as vote trails and stat graphs. This will reduce latency and improve real-time data retrieval.

4. Content Support Tool

The content creators need guidance to maximize their impact on Steem.

• Proposal:
  Develop a simple content support tool that analyzes post drafts (e.g., text length, tag usage) and provides basic suggestions (e.g., “Add an image for a vote boost”). This will empower users to improve their posts.

5. Local Community Manager

The Steem community thrives on local engagement, yet there’s no dedicated tool to connect users by region.

• Proposal:
  Introduce a local community manager feature that maps users by location (based on profile data or IP, with opt-in consent) and facilitates meetups, local events, or regional content challenges.

6. Real-Time Collaborative Editor

Collaborative content creation is underrepresented on Steem, limiting the potential for high-quality, multi-author posts.

• Proposal:

• Proposal:

• Proposal:

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

The project will be divided into 4 phases:

  Upgrade the server to 16 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, 320 GB Disk, and integrate SDS for performance gains.

  Redesign the graphical interface with a modern layout, targeting improved mobile usability.

RESOURCES REQUIREMENTS

Budget:

We propose a funding of 100 SBD per day for 365 days, starting from May 2025.

This totals 36,500 SBD will cover server costs, development, and maintenance.

The funds will be managed transparently, with regular updates posted to the community.
