Peepcoin now DAPS  is the virtual currency of the future
DAPS (Decentralized - Anonymous - Payment - System) is an old coin with a new purpose. DAPS is a 1:1 swap of PCN, with new features and tweaked specs. Controlled inflation, long-term airdrops and ultimately decentralized governance powered by masternodes across the world are key to this mission. A main push for DAPS is to anonymize assets, and secure an infrastructure for development of further features. DAPS aims to be more than a coin, but a culture.

In traditional blockchains, the users are exposed to analytics. Oppressive governments around the world use this data to track and punish cryptocurrency users. We aim to preserve everyone's right to control their finances as they see fit.

Their contribution has been incredible in a short time. We have uncovered that Peepcoin’s source is indeed based on the Zerocoin Protocol, specifically libzerocoin, and has multisig code inside. Since privacy was going to be a priority for DAPS, this means that the process has become much easier to handle. It has been decided that using PIVX as a base for DAPS, and integrating features from underused Zerocoin protocol, will be the best path forward. 

        

 

As well, DAPS Team has negotiated a deal with Pacnode.net, to allow DAPS Masternodes to be hosted on their shared/hosted Masternode service once they are live. Pacnode.net allows those who are unable to maintain Masternodes themselves to use Pacnode’s services to help people take part in Masternodes.
