RE: Vote for Freedom in 2020
Musket balls were pretty nasty. Plus, with basically no battlefield medicine a shot to the big toe might kill you! I take your point, though.
To be fair, I was in the army for 15 years and I can't see our military using tanks and artillery on their own families and friends. If there was a coup, it would probably be more like the one that happened in Egypt.
Interesting you mention that. This just came out the other day: (We had a coup already by Johnson when Kennedy was assassinated then the rise of Kissenger empowered the MIC.). THe only way back is to empower the people via expanding the house to cut off their budget).

That is interesting. Just to be clear, though, I'm not advocating a coup, I just think it's possibly in the cards if things don't change. It doesn't actually take that many people to pull one off, if those people are well placed in the military.
There's already people suggesting in as a viable option.

I'm not suggesting you are encouraging a coup... heaven forbid. But I am curious as to what would a coup accomplish? I guess would be determined by who is creating the Coup. It's obvious that the military hates the spooks in the deep state but the generals all get funding through and based on State's requests. Plus they all benefit from the MIc. They'd need a pot of cash somewhere to run things while they re-organized the entire executive branch. That's why I'm saying that Change has to come from the people through the House. A military coup would never be accepted by Americans or the courts. Imho.
I just wanted it on record in case there were any government types lurking around. I agree Americans wouldn't accept it: at least a bunch wouldn't.
It's scary because in this country everyone has guns so if we start down that road who knows where it will end up. I'd like to think we were past that kind of short sighted thinking, but recent events in Berkley and other places suggest some Americans are prepared to enforce their ideas through violence. I think we're lucky it's mostly progressives right now because they're generally against private gun ownership, but when the rednecks decide they've had enough things could get ugly.
I don't think a coup is the most likely scenario, though. If I had to bet on anything, I'd bet on totalitarianism.
Yeah like the Bundys and the Cowboys. Adam just published a video about the family today.
