Cute Date Ideas!

in #dating7 years ago

Hello everyone!

As someone who's been in 2 relationships, I can say that dates are very good ways to show your significant other that you care and to enjoy yourself!

Here are some cute date ideas from both the internet and from past experiences!

CINEMA TRIP

My first ever date was to the cinema to see the Adam Sandler movie "Pixels". We picked that film mainly because it would've been more empty.
This is a good date if you have a bit of a budget as cinema snacks can be expensive - however you could smuggle your own in (not that I'd endorse it - though if you do take the rubbish away with you!) or check out student deals etc etc for cheaper snacks!

PUB DATE

This is good if you're above the legal drinking age. I dont want to condone underage drinking!
My current boyfriend and I went to the pub as friends and left as something more (cheesy I know).
This is a good choice if you're in the mood for chatting, though it can get pricey as the night goes on - ladies, don't expect the man to pay for it all too!

PICNIC

This is something that is fun if you have a nice quiet spot. My ex-boyfriend and I used to buy sushi from wasabi and sit on the green and eat it, cuddling and listening to music. That worked as the green was in the middle of town, but if you're somewhere more rural or looking for a cheaper option you could bring a packed lunch too. This could work quite well as also a cycling trip or a river day.

ICE SKATING

Unless you have a year round rink near you, this is more of a seasonal thing. Personally I'm more of a fan of the cocoa at the side of the rink, but there's also something romantic about skating around hand in hand. Ahh, if only I could skate!
This wouldn't be too expensive, with the only real costs being the entry fee.

MOVIE NIGHT

I'm not necessarily talking "Netflix and Chill", I'm talking cuddled up on a sofa, movie on the TV and a Pizza either ordered or in the oven. This is possibly the cheapest option on this list as the only real costs would be the pizza!

GAME NIGHT

Quite similar to the movie night, but instead playing games! Things like Cards Against Humanity need 3 players, but other options like Monopoly or Catan work with two people. Card games are also good ideas. Then there's also video games - Guitar Hero and Mario Kart are alway winners, but maybe avoid Rainbow Road!

COOK A MEAL TOGETHER

This is a cheaper alternative to going out for a meal - even if you don't know how to cook, with a little help you cant go too far wrong. (Don't burn your house down please, I don't want to be held responsible).
