The "Hand of Claw" by Leonardo Da Vinci
My dear friends you knew that a resounding fall of Miguel Angel, ended his talent, according to studies carried out by some Italian doctors, they are convinced that this famous painter suffered from "ulnar paralysis", popularly known as "claw hand" , so I leave without finishing several of his paintings and among them the famous Mona Lisa.
The Claw Hand is a disease that does not allow extreme flexion of the middle and distal phalanx with hyperextension of the metacarpophalangeal joints, which prevents a good movement of the affected hand.
Doctors Davide Lazzeri and Carlo Rossi report, in a study published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, that Da Vinci suffered a deterioration of his nerves due to a stroke, analyzing the brushstrokes of two portraits made by this painter.
The analysis of the drawings made by DaVinci shows the brushstrokes inclined from the upper left to the lower right, which allows to define that the painter was left-handed. Curiously, in a portrait of the painter made by Giovanni Ambrogio Figino, it shows the artist's right arm practically hidden under his clothes and his visible left hand, but in a "rigid and contracted position", which gives the impression that his theory is true.

True or not this study, Leonardo DaVinci was an extraordinary painter, valid until our days and excellent teacher, who with his difficulty in his hand managed to teach and conclude majestically the great Mona Lisa.
