What an amazing post, so glad I came across it. I'm a huge DC fan so my opinion is kinda bias but I agree Marvel changed the game and DC tried to replicate it and failed spectacularly.

we all know these characters have star power and appeal and you shouldn't worry about other studios formulas and rather craft your own path. I see they're starting to listen a bit with the DC streaming series which has been pretty true to the comics and has great world building and a good feel to it so hoping they stick with the formula there, the CW one bleh. That's just teenage drama wrapped in a DC cover.

I enjoyed man of steel and while I wasn't totally convinced on BVS and understood the critique of it, when I saw the extended cut I really enjoyed it a lot more. I think Zack was made a scapegoat for poor decision making and became the fall guy.

We saw what he was capable of with watchmen so I have no doubt he would have done a great job with his version of sups! It's really sad we didn't get the movie fans deserved #releasethesnydercut
