Day 77:) Who will cry when you die?

Generally, we miss people after they die, not beforehand. What if today is your last day of life? Will you live the same way as you are living? Take 2 minutes and just ponder over the above image. Its worth exercising before reading further.

American Business Magnate, Steve Jobs. On his death bed, he gave shared few insights reflecting to his life.

“I have reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. However, apart from work, I had little joy. Now I know, after accumulating sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, I should have pursued our matters that are unrelated to wealth. What is the most expensive bed in the world? “Sick Bed”. Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost — Life. When a person goes into the operating room, he will realize that there is one book that he has yet to finish reading — Book of Healthy Life. Whichever stage in life we are at right now, with time, we will face the day when the curtain comes down.”

The above wordings by Jobs is a great life lesson for us. Just having wealth won’t help in the long run. It doesn’t mean we don’t need money. Obviously, we need to earn to fulfill our basic needs. Balancing is the key, else we gain at one end and lose at the other. Quarantine period might have helped you realize the same. Life is too short to live.

To quote Eleanor Roosevelt, Former First Lady of the United States,“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Repeating Jobs’s mistake may lead you to the same regret towards the end.
