Genuine Optimism

There is a renaissance coming and it has a motto--decentralize everything. On a global level we see this in block-chain technologies and in platforms like Steemit.com. This all started with the political awakening, which continues to reveal how dangerous vertically integrated and centralized powers have become. We are now beginning to see what can be done to combat all centralized and demonic forms of power. The renaissance is what happens when we actually launch working models. This is why I call myself The Genuine Optimist. I am part of the movement in creating working models that are headless and decentralized in power. Follow me everywhere to learn more, or just see me at www.genuineoptimist.com.

Now, what is Genuine Optimism? Genuine Optimism is not an attitude or a motivational five-step program to success. It's a cultural shift in how organize. It is horizontal and not vertical. It is consensual and not dictatorial. Every renaissance before in human history occurred when people organized for something better, for something that benefits all equally. This was always done in a consensual process and not a popular democratic process that is prone to manipulation by power centers. Read my book The Political Optimist: The Restoration of Common Consent. From the Magna Carta to the Iroquois Confederacy, decentralization was the means to a more powerful end.

I call myself The Genuine Optimist because I suffered many years in very political environments. I now see a better world to come and that gives me lift. I am now a voice that dares to communicate how powerful consensus driven organizations can be and how to scale them.

This is a great idea but I think it is much more difficult to accomplish. I think everybody likes the idea of decentralizing power but it is really hard to actually accomplish. I think that we all like the idea of more freedom and we can all have an optimism for that but there are a lot of obstacles in the way.

You have high hopes for the future and an overwhelming right to do so. What I particularly like is that the word "optimist" is who you claim to be. By definition, an optimist is a person who believes that this world is the best of all possible worlds or that good must ultimately prevail over evil. We all have a dream of living in a world that is pure, free, and decentralized. But is it promised? No. Until that happens all of us that can see the truth are nothing but optimists in our quest for a better tomorrow. Not to say it's just a pipe dream, but to say that we must recognize the evils of our world and just do our best to change them.
