DeepOnion - New DeepVault Feature

in #deeponion7 years ago (edited)

DeepOnion has proved that blockchain technology can be used to introduce significant changes to the global security industry. DeepOnion's blockchain technology is not only useful in powering its advanced anonymous digital currency but can also be used to strengthen existing security solutions.

DeepVault is a file verification feature embedded within the DeepOnion wallet, and it verifies the data in the process of using an algorithm for verifying the integrity of a file. More specifically, DeepVault allows Onion members to store file validation credentials (hashes of files) within the blockchain. The DeepVault feature has many benefits as it allows DeepOnion wallet users to verify a file's integrity over time.

When you download a file from the internet,  you have no way of knowing that the file has not been changed or corrupted during the download process.  In the most dangerous cases you will want to verify file integrity because it may be possible that malicious software has infected a file.

If the hash of the file changes, then a user knows the file has been altered or in some cases corrupted. DeepVault will be helpful in checking whether your important documents and files are secure and have not been tampered with.

Businesses and people handling important legal documents will benefit from the DeepVault feature as it would enable a person to verify that the document has not been altered.

I believe that this DeepVault technology has great promise in the security industry. It can be used to validate credentials of financial transaction documents and many other important documents.
