Kindly suggested by @Nhanhzam , this article will point out the major similarities and differences between DeepOnion and Zoin. It is quite an interesting thought to compare these coins since they have more similarities that it might look at the first glance.

My thoughts on coins

I must say how I am surprised by the design of the Zoin's official website, it is very neat and representative, like the one that DeepOnion has (not many coins can say that for themselves). It has a strong community behind the project, they even pointed out that "It was the community who decided to take over the project after it was abandoned by the original dev(s)." I haven't come across any project (besides DeepOnion's) that points out the importance of community. I am not familiar with the way Zoin's community works, but I am pretty sure that it can not compete with DeepOnion on this one. Zoin's White Paper is quite incomplete, unlike DeepOnion's which has its technology, features, and goals elaborated and explained in detail. Zoin has a lower market cap, so this one goes in favor of DeepOnion (special thanks to @Ebenezar64). Zoin has listed ideas in its WhitePaper, but DeepOnion has achieved and implemented everything as announced. Its TOR integration is a plus because it is well-known and guarantees privacy. PoS is another advantage in favor of DeepOnion. Zoin announces some kind of voting platform, but it isn't determinet what it will be, let alone how it will work. Good idea, but it needs to be worked out like the one for upcoming VoteCentral.

Final Words

Although this race is quite interesting and that both coins have bright future, the Zoin project is unfinished and incomplete in too many ways. I like the idea, congrats to the folks that took that project from a dumpster and put it back on the market, but it lacks serious explanations, and also features for which the project will be known for. Okay, it is anonymous, but what else? It has a good future, but ONION dominated this one if you ask me :) The proofs are in front of you, and I try to be objective and express my opinion with good arguments.
