This Is My Best work. fight Me.

Sometimes you look at your suffocating student debt in biology/chemistry. You look at years of championing for empathy and reason. Your life unfolds before your eyes, and what is left standing is a shitpost masterpiece that nobody in your family thinks is funny (jk my family is litty af). that is your best work. A single tear dampens your cheek.

I've written a lot of things I am proud of . This video script is the #1 thing

I won't be posting much on Steemit anymore, there is little point in doing so if no one ever sees it. My best work won't be coming here but probably end up on YT somewhere. Greetings!
Enjoy!

That's a shame. What do you lose by cross-posting here? I was thinking of re-steeming one of yours, but they are all past pay-out. I see you use Linux and Kdenlive. I used that the other day, but I don't tend to edit my videos much.

@steevc Yes I use Kdenlive without reworking the 4K image quality, so you can see that the sensors of the different cameras also color differently. I don't have a GPU so editing the image to color match the 2 is impossible, but kdenlive also allows me to add an infinite number of tracks, and this allows me to get much better sound. The Drums and Bass are never miked in this place, making it impossible to simply tap the panel for sound; I have to recreate the sound from multiple tracks and recordings to get something halfway decent.

What do you have to lose by cross posting you ask. Well what do I have to gain? Flags from Bernadette Slanders + bots? Pixie dust? I see this as an exercise in futility if a single entity can destroy other's accounts, so why would I want to be here? I've got too much time invested in creating these videos to donate them to a platform that ensures they won't be found; that's why they killed the view counter rather than fix it.

Greetings!

@onnovocks What he said. I feel the same way you do, from both a poster and someone who wants to see people's cool work. I percolate on what I really see as the issue: is it that my favorite people get lost in the noise (and would I really prefer algorithms adjusting what I see) , is it that there is more noise than necessary because even people I enjoy might over-post to take advantage of things such as SBI or just that they want to maintain visibility (this is frustrating because it is hard to comb through their 'eh work' to get to their 'best work' . I haven't cracked it or formed a solution that doesn't introduce more problems than it fixes yet but i hope you don't disappear from here completely either. and yes cross posting is an easy solution :)

@kilbride I actually have to dig to get to the truly good stuff, even the posts of those I follow quickly disappear in a pile of self upvoted garbage unless I happen to be on line at the right time. This irritates me to no end. Then there are the psychopaths like Bernadette Flagalicious who think that using bots to flag anyone of their choice is a fair tactic. Well hooray! He can have this platform all to himself while using the same bots to up vote his own one line shite. I did find some good folks to follow here, but most of them have left for similar reasons, or have, at a minimum, gone inactive. Greetings!

haha ah yes, speaking of flags, some poem I wrote just got flagged and I have no idea why lol. It's getting silly in here for sure

I think they are cashing out.
