I have dehydrated kale before, especially as kale chips. Where are you, that the solar dehydrator will work? I'd never get away with it here in Western Mass, this morning the humidity was 90%+.
I have never made kale chips before. It would be easy I am sure. I have eaten them though. We are up in northern Alberta Canada. We only have 88 frost free days.
90% humidity wow that is pretty humid. Up here it is really dry. We have had more humidity in the last few years but nothing like what you have.
