Break UP to Make UP Thats ALL we do! Relationships FROM HELLOOOO!!!!
So let me drop your jaw with a staggering statistic my friend:
A 2013 study out of Ireland found that four out of five people who committed suicide in that area of the world had relationship issues before they died. The study said that 78 percent of those who died by suicide had a breakup or were going through relationship issues before their death. The other cases included financial issues and employment problems etc. BUT this is only one of a GAZILLION studies that have found Relationship troubles to be the LEADING cause of suicide and depression.
Let's be REAL.... Dis functional relationships can be the most depressing force of nature life has to offer, not just for the core couple but for everyone connected to that core. Bad Coupling can result in, arguing, yelling, fighting, physical altercations, verbal mental and physical abuse and more. It can also be torture for the spectators and extremely damaging for any children involved. I subscribe to the theory that there is no such thing as a couple that does not need support, and wise counsel throughout their relationship. books, Pastors, Marriage Counselors (determined to help you make it) and other proven help. Not your nosy co-workers, bias family, and friends but professional and experienced proven support. There has NEVER been a more difficult time to maintain a healthy relationship then NOW. Hours spent dwelling on the internet and reality ( scripted) television have created a social standard impossible to live up to. Good counseling can bring these things into perspective. Especially if your married with children I WANT YOU TO MAKE IT.....
BUT and there can be a lot of BIG BUTTS involved in a break-up if you know what I mean (SMH) sometimes staying in a toxic mash-up can be the worse decision to make in your life. While others are only in the relationship alone and their "partner" emotionally disconnected from their dead-namic duo long ago. The Key to SURVIVING THE END TIMES is to know that it's only the end of this one thing not the end of the world and YES it is normal to feel like it's the end of the world. Don't try to look to hard into your future without "whats its face". Tomorrow has enough problems to worry about itself, so you just take care of today! If you find those gray clouds rolling in, seek help FOR YOURSELF. Don't Waite until your on the ledge of a rooftop to discover how deeply your hurting, don't isolate yourself, and don't be embarrassed or feel like a failure because the relationship didn't work out. That is almost the biggest lie the devil ever told you. You can own your mistakes without wallowing in them, so swim in change, in a progressive upward stream of peace, and do not ever dip in the pool of regret, it's quick sand that will only drowned you in the end.
FINALLY.....
Why Did I start a post about Break-ups with a suicide stat you ask? I know I don't have to tell you depression comes before suicide, but here's the thing you should know, suicide attempt survivors almost always state they would have never guessed in earlier time periods of their life, that they could have become depressed enough to attempt suicide. Of course after surviving a suicide attempt they are now basically forced to face the issues and get help, and for this reason they are almost always overwhelmingly overjoyed that they survived the attempt at ending their life journey. The relationship is over but life is not over. Peace and joy are out here be pro-active about looking for help when you feel devastated and you will find help is out here, it is all around you!
