Rambutan, small, red-spiked fruit. I love its vibrant colors, texture and that extra sweetness :)

I submitted a close-up of a giant tropical grasshopper in the first round of the macrophotography contest and I will stick with insects this time too. I captured this stunningly colorful catterpilar in Costa Rica.

Goodness! Looks like Christmas came early in the form of a pine tree! Excellent photo!

Haha, thank you! :D

Sure, people have been loving this one and I might as well. Since it's in a show at the moment I guess I'm a professional.

This is a moon jellyfish.

That is awesome looking. I have never seen a shot like this before.

OOOH! So elegant and ethereal – I love it!

It´s not really a macro but I still would like to share it with you.

The colors are so vibrant in this flower, notice the little guy on the stigma. I wonder what kind of bug it is. I have taken macro shots of bees this is much smaller. You could not see him with a naked eye,

An icy/frozen magic macro shot taken last winter, crawling on the ice cover of Jonsvatnet lake in Norway... These little beauties took me to another world. Here an example of trapped in ice elemental monster... Hope You like it!

I have always wanted to do shots like this. This is incredible.

Nature brings amazing creations! All we need to do is to watch closely on our surrounding. Thanks for comment!

This photo is of...well, maybe I'll let you guess what the photo is of? I don't remember the exact camera setup but I think I was using a reversed 50mm lens, and possibly extension tubes... The possibilities for abstraction with macro photography are endless.

I have no clue how you were able to get such an amazing shot, but this is sweet.

Thank you! :D

Is this like oil drops above the water surface? I want to try something similar haha

It's actually just regular Palmolive soap mixed up in a glass. :)

Gonna get up off my sleepy horze and do ☆
