Entering an abandoned factory is always very fascinating. And when the name is one of the best known in Italy and in the world, the situation also becomes historically important.

In 2012 Sergio Pininfarina passed away and, although he had not been an integral part of the company for some time, the date is still a decisive and symbolic watershed. In fact, thanks to the crisis in the automotive sector at the beginning of the century, Pininfarina decided to dispose of the production activity in 2011 and the San Giorgio Canavese plant was definitively abandoned. T

his production site was only opened in 1987 to produce the Cadillac Allanté and dedicated only to this car until 1993. Subsequently, here, among others, the bodies of great commercial successes such as the Fiat Coupé, the Peugeot 406 Coupé and the Lancia were produced. K SW. After the closure of 2011 it has been in a state of complete abandonment for over 10 years.
