Become a better designer by yourself
UI Designer, how to build portfolio when your experience is nothing?
Portfolio is a familiar phrase - a must-have along with CV to apply for jobs. But what to do when we need experiences to get a job, and need to… get a job to gain experiences?
I fell into this “endless loop”. Intership ? Volunteer for Product Team ? Short-term classes ? Freelance?
Then I start building my great career ahead : “Weekly UI Design by my challenge”
I imagine about a company or a product I want to work.
Or you could redesign an existing product. Then edit the downside and improve the product in your own way.
Finally, I post my project on Design Community or join Design Team. They will comment on your project and you fix the error to improve.
Weekly UI #1: Foody mobile app which creates a method dishes and which can be used for searching method dishes.
