The inner motivation and control

A person is as good as his thoughts. The inner motivation comes with a great hardships and expertise and your encounters with the problems in life and the experiences you have while handling them. Anything which is unpleasant leaves a bad impression. But the question which arises here is "Who decides what leaves an imprint on me ? " So the obvious answer is You !!Yourself. Yes, indeed its you yourself who decide what leaves an imprint on you and what in future may be a cause of agony or piece of happiness for you. Its you who decide what creates happiness and what gives you sorrow. A situation can be disheartening for someone while the same could be welcomed with both hands by other. The basic root cause of sorrow is the entanglement of yours with the worldly desires. Look at people around you. You may feel the pain if you see someone more affluent than you and its human nature that it sees only more affluent than himself and that's the cause of the sorrow, Why can't we focus on people less fortunate than us ????The moment we see them we start thanking god for creating a good path for us.
The desires play a pivotal role in creating miseries too. The desires shape you. They inculcate greed within you and until the penultimate goals of the greed are met you play within the hands of your greed and ultimately the final result in most of the cases would be sorrow and pain. We should be greedy about our happiness (by this i never mean that we stop looking for others or caring for other). What i mean by that is you should understand that what's good for you in the situation and act accordingly and judiciously. The moment you start acting judiciously with yourself and your greed, you will feel the inner contempt within you.
Try to act judiciously with your desires and make yourself happy within while working on them. Always remember one thing that there is a difference in coal and diamond although the main component is same in both-carbon ! The basic difference is ageing and pressure. Handling the pressure well makes you valuable and worthy. Thank god that he has chosen you and has trusted you that you would be able to bear that pressure. Once you bear that pressure and go through the worst with a smile on your face, you convert yourself from ordinary to extraordinary.
