A delightful article. I've no desire to make, or drink Kombucha. However, I do understand better why people get beer bellies :)
I don't think there are borders between life and science. I refuse to acknowledge them when they are thrown up. Parts of your post were difficult for me (yeah, the German was a challenge also) but parts were entertaining and instructive.
A nice way to start my Sunday morning--along with a cup of mundane, unfermented black coffee.

thank you for your kind reply. And thank you for that even though the article was written in a language you don't speak and deals with a topic you, not 100% interested in, you tried to understand everything. I really appreciate this.
As I said I want to translate the article into English as well. But probably I will add something more and remove something else.
