Bangladesh will get the same benefits as developed countries
Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya has said that Bangladesh will enter the tariff of equivalent quality of Bangladesh in the inauguration of Bangabandhu Satellite-1.
Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said this on Friday at the inauguration of a 92 kilometer power line at Matlab North and South Upazilas of Chandpur district on Friday.
At this time, the minister inaugurated this huge line by pressing the switch in a rally held at his home in Mohanpur, Uttara.
Through this line built at a cost of 14 crores, 6,300 subscribers of 55 villages of 14 union of both upazilas received electricity.
He said that due to this, Bangladesh will be in new height to provide information about disaster management and to be aware and protect the people. As a result, Bangladesh will be able to show more prominence in protecting the lives of disaster victims.
According to Disaster Management Minister, by 2018, he will be electrifying 100 percent of the work, he said that he was instructed by the power department officials to work towards this goal. Mayawati also ordered necessary measures to ensure continuous supply of uninterrupted power in the month of Ramadan, especially in the evening.
