Just a quick rant about Blizzards new Mobile Diablo

in #diablo6 years ago (edited)

And it is not gonna be what you expect.

It is not a rant about the game itself, but the reactions to it...

My reaction when I saw this.. I was saying to my gf , that I am sceptical, but interested.

Most peoples reaction was problably sceptical and immediatly go into a defense reaction and then go into a mob mentality. Seeing that they are not alone (at the blizzcon) with not liking mobile games, everybody and their mother in twitch chat starting bashing this. People like to mob up when they are the majority and punch the (poor) lone guy (the developers) in the stomach. I hate this.

When I see something like this, I feel people are way too extreme and should consider the possibilty of positive sides and immediately go into a defensive stance against the mob and side with whatever they are bashing.. can't help it.

People saying negative things probably did not look at the game, let alone play it and just say things because other say it. At this point, the developers could have said what they wanted they would just be faced with a "bcash bcash bcash " type of response or "mobile, mobile, mobile" if you want. This game seems not fixed and can be everything, why do you think it will fit your stereotype of a mobile game you never played that you have in mind?
Blizzard does often deliver the best product of the genre and revolutionize it. A lot is possible on mobile and it does not have to be how you imagine it.

Also .. Blizzard publishes a flawless demo of a game that is probably in early alpha stages if anything, probably hundreds of millions of people will play it, they will probably deliver the best game in a highly competitive market AND THEY GET BOOed of the stage, wtf!
