DIBCOINv2 & Cryptopia Exchange
Per Cryptopia:
We can confirm we have received the following DIBCOIN V2 deposit from you in April: https://omniexplorer.info/tx/19230249b60e178e6849b69410e5f2c5e9584c25f6e280009ce15919834d2480
We have updated our wallet to the new version and have replaced our user balances with the V2 coins you sent us, which precisely matched our old wallet balance.
These new V2 coins are now available for users to withdraw from Cryptopia, and we thank you for providing them.
Our team have recently reviewed the DIBCOIN project and have found that we are unable to relist DIBCOIN V2 as it does not meet with our current listing requirements and guidelines on a number of points. However the primary issue preventing us from relisting DIBCOIN is that the project appears to involve elements which lead to the coin being considered a Financial Product under NZ law. As an exchange now registered as a Financial Service Provider in NZ, in order to remain compliant we are restricted from trading in tokens which are considered Financial Products. You may refer to our Financial Markets Act here: http://www.legislation.govt.nz/act/public/2013/0069/latest/whole.html and refer to a number of other coins we've been required to delist on this basis: https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=91697d9edb1e9bc032a664a14a9619e3
Please also note that our original statement for delisting DIBC last year, legal threat from Adam Petty, may still be relevant as it appears there are still ongoing legal disputes over DIBC. We stated at that time that DIBC would not be relisted on Cryptopia in any form.
we suggest that you create an #omniwallet and transfer #DIBCOINv2 tokens to your personal wallet that you have control over the private keys https://www.omniwallet.org/
