I agree with your main points. As humanity moving further from tropical areas, food supplies become limited. When all the way to the North Pole, the only thing left to eat are other animals. Sure, it's not healthy and they die early. We also need to consider the cost of living. Here in Canada, our fruits are rediculuslsly expensive to go all raw here would become a financial burdan.

The invention of fire also helps humanity evolved because we solve the food scarcity problem and become able to digest more food sources that couldn't consume raw like grains and legumes and harder fiber vegetable.

Many scientific tests had shown many health benefits from other plant-based whole food that need a bit of cooking in order to digest. These food groups and keep our cost low and made available more phytonutrients for our optimum health.

I think the most ideal plan is to have benefits of both and inclde all 5 colorful food into our diet. Optimum health and lowest price. Unless, we can figure a way to move all the population on this planet into tropical area.
