Learn to Dance Disco from a Finnish Ladies Man

Perfect Instructions to become Disco King (this post becomes strange in terms of language, focus and more...)

If you ever wanted to be a Disco King, the hero of the dance floor - the new local John Travolta I recommend this video. This is the way to get all the girls! Be seductive and move your bones - this is a Finnish production (country in the North of Europe famous for the best skijumpers) dancing on a German Schlager-Disco song that originally was Germany's song for the Eurovision Song Contest in the 1970ies. - and NO - it is not @acidyo - it is also not @schattenjaeger.

The same Finn is teaching Italian Disco

I thought that was a one-dance-wonder but no - this guy is really a ladykiller - check him teaching Italian Disco Style. It seems these scene are all from old Finnish national tv program and the maestro is a famous dancing teacher called Åke Blomqvist.

Now look here - Åke indeed doing the Travolta and more on his return to the dance floor. But on a serious note - this guy was a great entertainer in Finland! Born as Arthur Åke Blomqvist ( 14. December 1925 Helsinki - September 18, 2013 Helsinki) he was famous as Finnish Master of the dance. 20 years ago he was awarded with the Counselor of Education title.

How did this start only?

Actually I wanted to write about fun / strange German Disco moves and songs -it ended up in a marketing campaign for Finland. Dschinghis Khan - about the band and the song "Moskau"

"Moskau" is a German-language single by the German pop-act Dschinghis Khan (known as Genghis Khan in Australia and other countries) released in 1979. There was also an English-language version released in 1980 which was entitled "Moscow".

Wer sind die Verrückten :-)?

Dschinghis Khan ist eine von 1979 bis 1985, von Ralph Siegel produzierte deutsche Popgruppe. Ihre größten Hits hatte sie 1979 mit den Liedern Dschinghis Khan und Moskau, die auch international erfolgreich waren.

Am 17. Dezember 2005 kam es in der Moskauer Olimpijski-Arena, organisiert vom Radiosender Retro FM bei einen Konzert vor 60.000 Zuschauern zu einen Comeback wobei die 4 ursprünglichen Sänger Wolfgang Heichel, Steve Bender, Henriette Strobel und Edina Pop ergänzt wurden durch Daniel Käsling, Ebru Kaya und Stefan Track, der die vom verstorbenen Mitglied Louis Hendrik Potgieter gespielte Tänzerrolle übernahm.

Bei der ZDF-Show Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel im Mai 2007 traten sie dann auch wieder vor einem millionenstarkem deutschen Publikum auf. Kurz davor veröffentlichte die Gruppe das Album "7 Leben".
