An unheard, weird & short 'unusual tutorial' about how Curation Rewards works in steemit.

in #discussion7 years ago (edited)

"Curation Benefits" is purely a GAME about predicting the Popularity rather the Quality of content at this point in steemit.

Therefore currently, collect decent earnings and profits from "Curation" activities, is clearly the same as enter into an exclusive posh casino with allowance only for Lazy/Blind Well Stoked High SP Bettors sitting around the roulette trying to predict what would become 'viral content' as if it were about having placed their best bet at double zero at a given time.

Curation is only really valuable if you can do it in massive bulk or you already have a lot of SP, which means that all of your actions are scaled commensurately. You will notice that this is a recurring theme in this architecture.

So, if you aren't a high SP stake holder yet, simply forget about joining & following those undiscerning and visionless elitist Curation Guilds and Voting Trails expecting that what they/you upvote blindly serve as signals of what would help the system to bring you better content and more things that you'd like to consume while simultaneously encouraging and motivating good authors to stay around and produce even better stuff.

Hence...

¿Do you really wanna prioritize your time getting more satisfying rewards and gratifying results while you are logged in here?

Yeah! then quit right away upvoting just for money YO. And rather go hunting in the wild looking for truly valuable good readings/preys and READ them all ¡Bamboozled!. Read all the content you find consciously and voluntarily. And only upvote stuff M-A-N-U-A-L-L-Y after having consumed it until the last bite and digesting it completely. And then, just by then, only upvote these if you really already feel like wanting to consume more and more of those rare but succulent banquets of sorts.

¿Is all this so hard to grasp?

¿Are these concepts of simple 'common sense' too tough to chew and swallow?

Well yeah! I've said this would be a short article.

And solely for the fact of publishing it at midnight. At strange late hours halfway to a saturday morning of a St. Patrick's Day with those who share the same time zone as me at least. Probably the majority that shares with me the English language, they won't have the fortune to catch and read it in time with better synchronicity like to keep me here waiting for their comments and feedback in short.

Hopefully, the most that I should expect, will be just attract a few shy comments later on through what could looks like the start of a more relaxed weekend. And maybe, just maybe, after having thrown on my 'friday's afterparty' table all these pieces of food for thought for everyone to consume. Only some lucky readers and daredevil explorers will help me out not to have to scare the crickets and cockroaches outta my table by myself alone in the morning. Food for thought often served within the house of usual monologues and soliloquies. }:)

Because after all, one thing is to "teach", another is to "instruct" and another totally different is to "educate". A teacher can teach & instruct with rules, grades and treats, like if you were a pet. But educate is something not everyone is made for. Educate is interacting with your students not like your students but as persons. Teachers often rather teach & instruct because it's easier than educate. Because educate actually requires more wisdom and knowledge about the subjects to explore and definitely a great dose of patience to explain stuff. Teaching and Instruction is what is mandatory for a wage-slave occupation. On other hand, Education is learning how to thrive.

Consequently, I suspect I'm trying to educate you here. Since I suppose that I'm always encouraging you to READ and think critically all the time. :)

Since I am in the wild reading great content like this does that mean I am part of the Posh Adventurers Club? Do we get badges?

I lie, I follow you so not as adventurous as I might like. I shall proceed to go into the unknown, I hope to find rare beauty and not fall in the abyss here is looking at you @gobangkok.

Yes Ma'am, you can get those!! As long as you won't ask to scan someone else badges, get it tweaked as you please for print and then also demand it printed in a size too big to proudly show this in your noobie chest. You know?

Those already early in the Posh Adventurers Club don't like newcomers with bigger badges than those that they are already carrying. And most likely, you will risk that they throw at you an ugly gaze. LoL

Thank you very much @penderis for your upvote, resteem and very welcome comment mate. It is indeed highly appreciated.

Now, go out there 'in the wild' and keep hunting into the unknown!! :)
