Since no one yet seems to have posted about this issue before. (Well, at least not that I'm aware of) I think I'm gonna do it in the always 'didactic', humorous & mischievous style of the Pinky Cranky Gandalf. }:)
¿Have you noticed that under the dysfunctional steemit UI and even worse, its own Markdown/HTML post's editor 'it' stinks big time at the time of going checking how nice, symmetric, tidy & posh the format of your articles are coming out while you are writing and composing them in there?
¿Have you noticed that after have dedicated all that time and meticulous effort carefully crafting your stuff within the editor until the most minimum detail of awe, at the moment of press that Post Button publishing it, none of that voodoo you did helped at all?
Yeah! yeah! I know you did noticed it. And ¿isn't this cute? ¡Holy Shit!
Well, I'm not sure about you. But I do certainly am a 'fornicating' perfectionist. A very fussy damn maniac at the time of tailor my schtup copulating as a wild beast simultaneously with all my letters, words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, images, animated gifs, videos and the mother who gave birth to them all At The Same Time!!
¡Holy Fuck! Yeah! like a literary orgy. Like a Bacchanalia of Design. Like an endless frantic & frenzy splurge of lust whoopeeing with graphics elements and words spanking em all. Like a rampant written debauchery of ideas, concepts, abstractions, nonsense & whatnot spilled and rolling all over steemit's post editor floor and bangin' em all in surfeit. Like a.. like an.. ¡fuck that! You already got what I meant.
The thing is.. that same as me, I bet there must be a 'cojonal' of perfectionist maniacs more like me out there who can not stand to see their "works of art" all unbalanced, skewed, untidy and asymmetric after click that darn post button and then verify that we've just given birth to a true shabby punk with mohican hairstyle and skewers everywhere. ¡Hooolysmooth! Yeh, yeh, yeh. Let's stop a lil bit blasphemy. :p
But I have to tell you handsome boy. I am indeed a rabid bigot of symmetry. A Taliban of the squared, ordered, parameterized and straight in my lines and paragraphs. Under no circumstances I like to observe my sentences and phrases thrown out there throughout the context of my article like blood sausages badly cut and tied like slaughter thrown contemptuously on the table of a messy butcher. ¿Capisci?
Therefore, I have no choice. I will have to edit my damn posts on the flight in a continual blind essay and error fashion as many times as necessary after clicking the Post Button to make sure they are as freaken squarely round as I please.
And if this generates more and in excess transactions within the Steem Blockchain.. well, ¡Suck It Up! I'm just an old cranky chap who barely post an article once or twice a week. So it should not be too much trouble to shake & rattle with overwhelming exuberance our dear digital ledger with my crap. But think about it. Think twice how many more are out there posting just so finickle?
If this already cost us a ball and part of the other be read when our posts are wonderfully well formatted as an exquisite delicacy to consume and read them all. And currently there is no God who reads Us. Just imagine who the hell will read us if our posts look more crooked and unpresentable than, than, than.. Ah! put yourself the name.
Yep! don't worry. That today I'm not planning to do one of my usual long-ass format TL|DR rants of mine. This post today is only with the intention of inviting you to discuss with me and everyone else about this topic. A simple discussion post like @timcliff would say...
So be it!!
But I guess the question that remains & needs to be answered here right away is this:
¿How damn hard it must be now make the steemit's post's editor truly WYSIWYG again as we already had it before some time ago?

I think that the ability to develop and personalize the blog will hopefully come through some new fandangled interface or something. I know thatI would much prefer a cleaner, simpler look and perhaps even some font and formatting options.
I have difficulty accepting the look of the articles each time but I am starting to accept that 'mess is good'. I think many people here are used to the look of conspiracy websites so feel at home :)
No, not even that is or would be necessary. No need of Bells & Whistles at all.
What is really needed is much much easier to solve. As simple as make that the appearance of the article showed while we are writing, formatting and composing it in the editor. Actually correspond at the end side to side with the final result after clicking on the post button. ¡That's it!
What has been known for many many years ago as a decent, logical & freaken WYSIWYG (What.You.See.Is.What.You.Get)Text/HTML/Markdown editor.
We already had it and enjoyed it not so long ago before the now green steemit's logo change and some other skulduggery made in the GUI by the Brainy Devs. I wonder, ¿in what the hell the devs in charge were thinking when they came with so much useless cosmetic mariquera to modify the UI/UX to the detriment of a logical and perfect functionality which we were already enjoying previously without any fuss?
Ah, I get it. Yes, it is annoying and then... you look at the mobile version ;)
Primero que nada, déjame decirte que tu nombre me intriga, es acaso una apuesta? En fin así parece, me hubiese encantado leerte en español, pero igual lo disfruté, estoy totalmente de acuerdo con el hecho de que suele ser engorroso cada detalle que se debe cubrir luego de escribir para darle formato a esa mezcla de ideas imágenes que queremos compartir. Por último....colocarle un traje rosa y lazos de hello kitty a un mago tan serio como ese hizo que me riera hasta decir basta, me encantó tu post. Lo voto y te sigo.

Coincido contigo en que mi nickname pudiese resultar un tanto intrigante. Pero no le hagas mucho coco, eso solo sucede con nuestros paisanos venezolanos malandreando en la misma jerga. Jajaja
Su origen en realidad no es una apuesta.. ó a lo mejor sí. ¡Vaya usted a saber! En todo caso acá te dejo una pista para que como bioanalista y hormiguita curiosa que eres lo analices por ti misma. ;)
Y ya que te gusta ver la vida desde el cristal más bonito y que te hubiese encantado leerme en español, pues te voy a complacer. La verdad es que no acostumbro publicar mucho en español mis usuales extravagancias y sutilezas públicas. Ya que probablemente de bonito tienen poco e inefablemente los obliga a todos a PENSAR y REFLEXIONAR mientras, durante y cada vez que me leen.
Lo que obviamente ambos sabemos, no es muy grato ni placentero para la mayoría cuando ya se creen a salvo en casita lejos del cotidiano estrés, el ruido, la cayapa y el tizne de las humeantes camioneticas en mal estado. Y ya se encuentran sentaditos frente al PC, sosegados, relajados, con su arepita de sardina en la mano, solo interesados en chequear cuantos SBDs y Steem hicieron hoy. }:)
Así que con la más sorprendente, creativa e imaginativa excusa a nivel preescolar y que habré de expresarla que parezca dicha con el rostro más solemne, sobrio, serio y cejudo de un auténtico Cranky Gandalf rosaito.... ¡Exclamo! Supongo que ya habrás de haberlo hecho. Si de verdad eres así de curiosa y analista como dices ser y tan temeraria como para compartir tu punto de vista libremente sobre lo que leemos, pensamos y somos como aquí ya lo has demostrado.
A lo que me refiero, es a que sospecho que probablemente ya le has echado una husmeadita al resto de mi blog para encontrar alguito que ya antes hubiese publicado en español. Y si no ha sido así, pues no hay rollo y te brindo un atajo para encontrar alguno que otro y no se te vaya a saltar la hiel.
Curiosamente, justo antecediendo a éste, que hoy has leido, hay uno que seguramente te va a encantar: ¡Locura Sin Tensión! a través del cual probablemente tengas la oportunidad de conocerme aún más y un poco mejor. Y si realmente llega a agradarte ese, ya puedes continuar rastreando de ahí pa'bajo. Sin que yo me vuelva a sentir culpable de haber ahuyentado prematúramente a un nuevo seguidor/a.

A ver...no se ni por dónde empezar, cuando te leí en inglés algo (además del nombre) me decía en mi cerebro...en el fondo está pensando en español, jejeje ( o tal vez era una proyección mía), luego de esta maravillosa respuesta, revisé tu último post para esa fecha y me encantó y seguí mi recorrido pensando...ohhh hay mucho que leer y todo parece interesante o chistoso (créeme que en ese momento hubiese preferido que tuvieras tan poco tiempo en steemit como yo que apenas comienzo y he publicado sólo algunas cosas) sin embargo me parece genial tener el estímulo de querer leer a alguien y disfrutarlo porque eso hace que uno piense en tantas cosas más que a veces me gustaría tener al momento un cuaderno de notas y un lapicero para captar ese instante en que las ideas fluyen. Tus escritos me entusiasman, así que tal como dices, luego de quitarnos la gran carga externa de lo que pasa en nuestro mundo personal y sentarse en la compu, o en mi caso viendo el celular sólo para encontrarnos con otro mundo, otra gente que vibra con una energía tan distinta y a la vez tan empática. Así que doy gracias por una noche de éxito en steemit porque en este océano hay chance de disfrutar leyendo, aprender riendo y agradecer con un click en el lugar indicado. Te sigo leyendo y gracias, gracias, gracias.

¡Qué va! Yo escribo mi poquito de inglés, y me disculpo de verdad por heterogeneizarte de nuevo esta publication Pero tu buen desarrollo del inglés me ha tumbado de mi egoteclado y prefiero saludarte y comentar en mi nativo castellano.
Primero; ese Gandalf rosao es un insulto, jajaja, mentira, cada quien con lo suyo. De verdad te has ganado un seguidor, aunque eso tal vez no sirva de mucho, ya que igual ni tú me vas a ver todos los días y va a ser muucho más difícil que tú aparezcas en el fid que tengo plagado de gente|bots, porque la verdad es que siempre me olvido de que eso existe y rara vez me asomo por esos lados de esta firme plataforma pero llena de cuartos|bloques raros.
Hay muchas cosas por implementar, que tal vez nunca se hagan, tal vez ni lleguemos a esa etapa, o quizá sí, y tengamos una manera menos trabajosa de editar|crear|producir un pedazo de texto con códigos e imágenes. Una de las cosas más tediosas que he encontrado ha sido el tener que revisar miles de veces todas y cada unas de las correcciones o estilos para enchular tu entrada. scroll up/down a morir, sin límites. Aunque esperar a ver dónde me sale una foto al cargarla, o cómo todas las cosas tediosas se juntan para hacer de tu experiencia al redactar una introducción para entender el código html y todas sus jugarretas cuando se traslada a un markdown. Intenté busy y me ha dado peores fallas al estilizar o incluso escribir, pero tiene una mejor interfaz para visitar perfiles y hojear diferentes entradas.
Por ahora creo que vuelvo arrepentido a steemit, aunque he encontrado una herramienta o página nueva llamada oneplace.media. Ya le encontré unos cuantos fallitos a la hora de trasladarte a steemit, por ejemplo, habiendo cargado las imágenes por allá. Pero dentro de todo me parece una buena interfaz de bloggers, hecha por escritores y para ellos|nosotros. En fin, si no la has visto pensé en sugerírtela, ¡tal vez tengas una mejor experiencia con ella!
Formalmente ahora te saludo, porque me llamó la atención tu nombre de usuario, y ahora también tu forma de escribir. Ya te he leído en español y en inglés y debo decirlo: escribes lo que yo quiero leer, y como me gusta también. Muchas gracias por leer hasta aquí (si lo hiciste) y muchas buenas vibras desde este lado. Seguro las necesitarás si volverás a las batallas que son redactar cada post. Y nada de egoteclados que valgan en estos dominios oscuros de mi reino hermano. Aquí todo el que entra, desembucha pa fuera en el slang que más le plazca. Que pa eso aquí el del atuendo rosao entiende toda clase de lenguas raras/muertas y también lee señales de humo, gestualidades y hasta comunicación por señas a través del monitor. Siempre para mí un gran placer recibir saludos en todas las frecuencias y elocuencias.
Gracias por el dato del oneplace.media. Le estuve echando un breve vistazo, pero sospecho que como para resolver el rollo de lo que hablo en éste post, como que lo que va a hacer es enredarnos aún más el papagayo. Jejeje
Y a ver si dentro de esa pasión que cultivas por el diseño gráfico, el arte visual y la escultura, te da un día por dedicarle una de tus obras maestras al Cranky Gandalf "rosaito".

¡Gracias por la reseña que ya me sabía! Pero tú no, y eso por lo menos te ejercita un poco el cerebro, capaz también la empatía. Ahí sí te doy mérito, igual que por la música. Tal vez la use para desarrollarte el boceto o diseño del viejo que no es el que ahora tienes con lacito, sino Walt Whitman. Mientras tanto te dejo por acá un Tolkien dorado.
Pensé en escribirte desde oneplace pero punto para ti, no me deja navegar sino por publicaciones hechas en el lugar o las mías; no vi por ningún lado cómo acceder a solo los comentarios. Lo que sí me permite su interfaz al redactar es justificar, y algo que me parece muy importante; poder con un solo click activar la vista previa del post (sin necesidad de subir y bajar como un ejercicio aeróbico), que debo repetir, me hace eterno el construir una entrada a mi blog.
De todas maneras seguiré haciendo como tú: de bloque en bloque seguir editando cada vez más y menos al mismo tiempo, construyendo y destruyendo el sistema binario y la falta de estilo de steemit, que como sal y pimienta debemos comprar ajuro en otro lado; sean códigos o ideas nuevas. En la forma de usuarios que valgan la pena de descubir y hasta tomar nota, porque de verdad que el talento no solo radica en la simetría de las palabras, mucho menos de las letras. Espero que encuentres esa manera cranky de siempre intentar algo nuevo, bien sea salirte un poco de la simetría o conseguir la armonía algún día, porque la melodía steemit la estás llevando súper bien.
