In the vast field of medicine, one of the oldest, most useful and important scientific branches in the history of science, discoveries and the development of new knowledge never ceases. However, there are certain instances in which doctors are simply overwhelmed by the uniqueness or rarity of certain cases.

There are many very, very strange diseases, syndromes that occur in averages of 1 in billions and all kinds of disorders, both physical and psychological, that seem to come from the most extravagant fiction.

The joint work of dermatologists, surgeons and other specialists, will try to elucidate if there is any surgical alternative that allows to extirpate the enormous warts.

It is a genetic problem that affects the child from the moment he is born. They are known as 80-year-old children or grandparents. It is similar to Benjamin Button, a film in which the character is played by Brad Pitt. The difference of the film with reality, is that these children do not become young and die at about 13 or 15 years.
It is not a common disease and does not attack a particular race or sex, however, 97% of those affected are white. The estimated proportion of those affected is one in every 7 million.
