Chandrayan-2 will fly with NASA's laser equipment, it will look like the exact distance of the moon's distance from the earth.
A laser device will also be sent to NASA with US Space Agency, Chandrayaan-2, India's second mission on the Moon. NASA officials say that with the help of this tool, the distance between Earth and Moon can be traced accurately. Before Chandrayaan-2, NASA's Laser Retrofillector was sent along with Israel's Berishshit Lander. Berishet can land on the moon on 11th April.
There are already five laser reflectors on the moon but there are many flaws in them. Some size is very big. Lori Glaze, officer of NASA's Planetary Science Division said, "We want to install more and more reflectors on the surface of the moon." Reflector is a kind of mirror that reflects the laser light signal coming from the Earth. With the help of signal, scientists can find out which part of the moon is present on the moon. After this, the distance between the moon and the earth can also be calculated. It can also help to detect the changing temperature of the moon.
India launched a decade ago Chandrayaan-1
On October 22, 2008, India launched its first moon mission. Nearly a decade later, Chandrayaan-2 will be launched in April. Under this mission the lander will be landed on the surface of the moon. In the name of Vikram Sarabhai, who was the President of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), this lander has been named 'Vikram'. After the success of India's Chandrayaan-II mission, after Russia, America, China and Israel, it will become the fifth country to land on the moon.
