"Captain's Yacht" Quadcopter

Here are some beauty shots of my most recent Cherry wood veneered Neato 220 Quadcopter.

It was a fun experiment since I had never seen anyone ever put wood veneer onto a carbon fiber frame. But the image I had in my mind was a cross between a Mercedes dashboard and a Chris-Craft Runabout.

I finished it off with a Mahogany stain, some gold pinstripes along the edge, and a high gloss polyurethane. I'm calling this frame the "Captain's Yacht", and she is a beauty! I'm really happy with how it came out.

Now I just have to get the courage to actually fly it!
