DIY Prohibition Decor Centrepieces on a Budget

in #diy7 years ago

“You won’t have centre pieces? But it is our annual dinner?!”

Things you might say when an event is organized by a guy on a tight budget, with 13 tables to decorate.
Challenge accepted.

What I used:
Empty wine bottles
Paper lunch bags –$1.50 for pack of 24
Large feathers –$6 from Michaels (after using a 50% off coupon)
Silver beads - $4 for 12 necklaces from Michaels
Sharpie – to write your numbers

How to assemble:
Find a cool prohibition era font and start writing out numbers on bags - I did both sides.
Place bottles inside bags

Place feathers in bottles so they stick out the top
Use beads to tie up the bags around the necks of the bottles
