Written at Wired, Schneier called the issue of trust the biggest example of the failure of the basic crypto money. According to him, crypto money was created to provide the basis for electronic transactions without relying on trust. A critical view of the blockchain technology architecture will show that the blockchain cannot function without trust. The concept defeats the initial purpose of the blockchain to have a system that is not controlled by one party.
