Max Accepted Payout? wtf?

This is the first time we are seeing this little footer at the bottom of the pending payout window.

Has anybody else seen this before?

It's weird that our account would have a max accepted payout, but the trending page posts, which totally abuse the system, do not have this max accepted payout.

That is the only good use case we can think of for this so we're really confused why this might be happening...

Not that we regularly break the $300 threshold LOL... Although we did, one time, thanks to our mysterious follower @thejohalfiles, Thanks again Johal (:

Test it out and send my latest post $300 of upvotes!

😁

LOL maybe in the future that will be possible (:

Its always been there and until a few weeks ago was $30.00 maximum, now its been upped to$300.00 . If I'm honest, I think its a good thing and should stop people using bots to try and get their sharing trending and stops reward pool abuse!

It should also apply to all the DApps though and not just single out Dlike.

Please explain why comments can earn $400 and posts can earn $300 LOL... This makes no sense and definitely hasn't always been there... And why only some peoples' accounts and only some posts?

I have never seen this before - is it just for DLike posts?

It looks like it's only certain peoples' comments and posts

Thats from last month
and has anyone said its not on their posts from dlike ?

We’re not 100% about any of this. Not sure why some posts can earn $30 whereas some can earn $300 and if you’re lucky a comment can earn $400.... Really makes no sense and there is no apparent place where all these numbers are coming from.

Nice catch, but looks like it's just on Dlike and Dtube posts.
This one has a limit of $100K
Perhaps it's configurable in preferences or why would his be so much higher?

Very weird for sure... We don’t know why anybody would want a limit on their earnings 🤣 I wish Steemit could explain why this is there though.

Yeah. I wish they rewrote the White Paper, there’s lots of changes I still don’t know about.

This particular spotty feature could use some elaboration for sure!
